Like many people, I sometimes fear for the direction that our popular media is going. This is probably most attributed to the fact that I am a Christian, and I feel like I just can’t find anything that is morally upright these days. Most of the stuff out there is getting more and more trashy.

The media that I am mainly referring to is stuff like books for children, movies, and music. Undoubtedly there are more than that, but you get the point. I’m not advocating insulation from all of these things, but I am saying that the need to live better and more Christ-like is even more important now than ever before.

The place to start is at church. I can’t think of anything better to bring myself back to center than by going to church and partaking of all the Christian resources that they have available for me. It’s a great place to re-connect with friends as we worship and talk about sacred things.

Another thing that I am really grateful for is that there are Christian stores that sell good and uplifting media. Despite what many people think, there are quite a few of these stores around the country. Not that it matters though; you can always go online to any Christian store and get whatever you are looking for.

One thing that I like about these stores is that they have things for my kids that I can feel good about. I don’t know if I want my children reading some of the popular books out there that won’t bring them closer to Christ. Why would I buy books about wizards when I could buy books about Bible stories and things that actually inspire?

Christian art is plentiful at stores like these, and I’m sure glad it is. Most of the more famous Christ paintings are available for purchase. Since we are on the theme of making our homes more spiritual and conducive to Christ-like influences, what could possibly better than hanging up good artwork?

And let’s not forget all the great church resources that they provide for our congregations. These Christian stores are responsible for some of the nice bulletins and certificates that we sometimes take for granted. These items make our church experience even better than it would be otherwise.

The point here is that there is tons of trashy media out there in the world but we can dodge it by shopping at the Christian store. We need our expose our family to good things and buying Christian products is the best way to do it.

In a time when there are few places to turn to get morally uplifting media, you can turn to Christian stores to buy quality Christian supplies. Your loved ones and you will turn out better.

I can’t even count how many times I have gone to a book or stationary store looking to find a religious product and I can’t find anything. I don’t know if it is the bad selection, or they just never think of stocking these kinds of products.

Being a Christian myself, I enjoy heading out to the store to find Christian supplies such as Christ artwork, fun cards and stationary, and books for my children. As simple as you would think it is to find these things, it has proven much harder to me than I assumed.

Lately though, I have found that there a number of online Christian specialty stores that offer exactly what I need. Even though they are usually oriented to one specific denomination, they offer products that anyone of any faith can use. I guess you could say they are general Christian store items.

By far, the church bulletins are one of the highlights of these stores. Many of them have great cover art unlike any other bulletins I have seen. And to top them off, they have very inspirational saying and quotes on the bottom or inside cover. You can even have them delivered to the church.

Another of my favorite items is the children’s books and educational materials. I no longer have to give my kids some meaningless toy that they will never play with again. Now I can give them something with a message that they can learn from. It keeps them having fun and I rest assured that they are being taught the right things.

I can’t forget all the wonderful art that I have access to. We all know how many great Christian artists there are out there. Their work is readily available at some online stores. I can’t think of a better way to show my devotion than by hanging some Christian art in my home.

Usually, if I check often, I am able to find discounts on church resources and Christian resources. Even though I wish I could buy all these items, I have to be realistic and buy only what I can afford. This is why I check every so often to see if I can find any kind of sale or discount. I am usually successful at finding something.

Thank goodness that I have found these great Christian stores to provide me with the uplifting entertainment that I need. And it’s not only me; it’s my whole family that benefits from what they sell. I would encourage every person of faith out there to check them out.

If there is one thing I know, it’s that children can be powerfully impacted by good Christ-centered products. When they are exposed to them on a regular basis, our kids will come to understand their belief system in a clearer way. They will be able to cement their beliefs and set a lifelong trend of righteous living.

I personally ended all the countless wasted hours spent searching for things at the mass market store when I found these Christian stores that have exactly what I need. They cater to my family and my values, not some passing trend.

For one, I can get great children’s books and educational items. I have always worried about exposing my children to the so called popular books out there. But would they really be getting the messages that I wanted them to get? By purchasing Christian themed books, I can assure that my kids are learning what they need to learn.

The greeting cards are another great item. I have used them to thank my minister for his contributions, and also for holiday occasions. Every card always has good messages that I feel good sending to my friends and family. The messages are especially appropriate around sacred holiday times.

Let’s not forget the artwork. Christian artwork is by far my favorite kind of art in existence. Our home benefits greatly by having it hanging on every wall. I don’t know of a better way to create a haven where we can study and experience harmonious family relationships together.

My key message here is that families benefit greatly by using Christian resources in the home. I cannot overstate the importance of exposing children to positive resources when they are young. This will set an irreversible course in their life that they will be glad they followed. It’s all about Christian resources, so stop by a store and start buying stuff.
